The carrier itself shows some wear, glass is clear and clean. Used, in good condition. The hinge pin was missing and it replaced with a steel wire, see pictures. Beseler 6x9 glass negative carrier model 8074 for the 23 you are buying on a 6 x 9 23c series of rs.

Feels a little wobbly, but when closed, holds negative firm, I have used it without any problem for 6x7 negatives.
