This adapter provides a 21mm extension, just enough to allow the turret rotate while still allowing proper focusing. Although many lenses with 39mm Leila mounting thread can be mounted directly on the Beseler 3-lens turret, certain lenses, rear element extends beyond far enough that it would prevent rotation of turret. Simply screw the lens into adapter, and adapter onto turret. This adapter can also be used in other situations where a 21mm lens extension is required.
