It comes with the shaft. This is an original Durst factory extension arm for the spec micro 183 r, the r had a 10x10 frame with a 5x7 head and bellows unit. Otis very heavy and in great condition.

This arm mounted where the original 10x10 head mounts and allows you to move the 5x7 head up higher for bigger prints on the baseboard. This will not work to extend a 10x10 head only a 5x7.
