The glass is clean and clear coated. When I shine a light through it can see some internal dust and maybe small fungus spots.

It comes mounted on a 4x4 inch metal board. It looks to be a high quality made piece. The diaphragm works fine. I have never seen another Hugo Meyer enlarging lens.
