When I closed my darkroom to print elsewhere, the lens was packed away. Condition is close to new no scratches, no haze, no fungus, and no heat damage common on enlarging lenses on the body or the lens.
Besides the obvious aging of the box, this lens looks new. Heres wonderful excellent condition Schneider 45MM f4 apo hm MC enlarging lens up for sale. After both uses, I put the lens back in the bubble, then back on my darkroom shelf.
The shutter blades have no oil or any other defect. As an apo chromatic lens with a dead flat field of focus and illumination, this is a surprisingly versatile lens. Build quality is fantastic. The f stops are illuminated, and there is a handy switch that allows infinite f stop adjustment or stops.
The storage bubble is completely unmarked and unscratched.
I personally purchased this lens new and used it a grand total of two times. Box and insert show shelf wear, everything inside the box is in perfect shape. No polish marks or coating defects of any kind on any lens surface.
