I am not sure why. This is a pair of Taylor Hobson ental ii enlarging lenses they are for 35mm and 2 square negatives. The 50mm lens is marked as made by rank Taylor Hobson, the other simply says Taylor Hobson. The glass is clean and the diaphragm works smoothly on each.

They made lenses for the Reid copies of the early post war Lucas and their early ental range I have four listed were amazing copies of the venerable LTZ factor enlarging lenses. Taylor Hobson have historically been a venerable lens maker of the post WWII era. I have another set of these also listed as well as one for 4x5 enlarging.

The 50mm one has the Leila thread adapter so both lenses can be used easily on the same r. The coating on these lenses is or a slight orange case as opposed to the bluish one on the earlier ental lenses. Also a set of four original ental lenses.
